On Sunday, November 18, the Conception Bay South Fire Department Station One took on Shave for the Brave, raising over $3,500 to help young adults living with, through, and beyond cancer!
Head Hunter Kelly Petten and her husband, Captain Chad Murphy, hosted the event as a way to support their daughter’s desire to participate in Shave for the Brave. Joined by community members and other firefighters, Ireland got to donate her beautiful long hair and had a day to remember!
A special thank you to Brian Quilty and the Public Service Credit Union for making a $500 donation to this event.
